Needless to say, it was a GREAT show! Grischa drove all the way from Germany to play, and we hung out backstage with Sparky where he showed us his tattoos!
We met Mark, the guy with the awesome painted Demented Are Go jacket, who said one of his favorite things about DAG shows is seeing how Sparky will show up on stage. “One time he had on these see-through ladies’ undies and I saw more of Sparky than I wanted to, bless him!” During soundcheck, when the sound man told Sparky he couldn’t smoke on stage he just put the lit cigarette in his jacket pocket. The crowd went wild when the band played “Daddy’s Making Monsters” and really, you just can’t take your eyes off this band the whole time they’re on stage! They are all top-notch musicians and every minute of the show is psychobilly mayhem!
